qCalculator is a free online calculator service. We build fast, accurate, mobile-friendly tools for the everyday money, health, math and conversion questions people search for — with no signup, no paywall and no clutter. Today the site offers 26+ calculators across 6 categories, and we add more regularly.

Our mission

Most online calculators are slow, buried in ads, or vague about how they reach a number. We set out to do the opposite: tools that load instantly, give a clear answer, and explain the formula behind it. Every calculator page shows the method and a worked example, so you can trust the result and learn how it works.

How we keep calculators accurate

• Each tool is built from documented, standard formulas — the same ones used in textbooks, by government agencies and by recognised institutions.
• Every page cites its primary sources (for example the IRS, CDC, NIST or peer-reviewed research) and shows the date the content was last reviewed.
• Finance and health tools cover sensitive ("Your Money or Your Life") topics, so we hold them to a higher bar — each result is checked against the authority cited on the page.
• Found an error or have a suggestion? We welcome corrections — please use our contact form.

Our editorial standards

Every calculator follows the same editorial process before it ships and every time it changes:

1. Source first. We start from the authoritative definition of the formula — an IRS revenue procedure, the CDC's published equation, NIST unit definitions — never from another calculator's output.
2. Fixed test cases. Each tool has pinned worked examples (shown on its page) that must reproduce exactly after any change. Many pages now include a "How we check this calculator" section describing the specific identities and edge cases we re-test — leap-year birthdays, bracket boundaries, zero-interest loans.
3. Data with dates. Tax brackets, property-tax rates, insurance averages and wage data carry the date they were last refreshed, visible in each page's "Last updated" line, and are re-verified against the cited source on every refresh.
4. Corrections policy. Reported errors are triaged within days; anything affecting a result is fixed and redeployed immediately, and the page's review date is updated. Report an issue via the contact form or qasim@qcalculator.net.

Content is written and reviewed by the qCalculator editorial team at Code9 Ventures Pvt Ltd. We don't publish sponsored results, we don't adjust formulas for any commercial reason, and calculators are free of charge to use — the site is supported by clearly separated display advertising.

Private by design

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to a server and are never stored by us. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
